Cheatham Hill Educational Foundation
The Educational Foundation will provide large ticket items to Cheatham Hill Elementary that the Cobb County School System and the Cheatham Hill Elementary PTSA cannot provide.
Foundations have more flexibility in their fundraising efforts. They are able to raise larger funds, in more diverse ways to provide for our school.Our initial undertaking was the replacement of the playgrounds with two new playgrounds. We came in six months ahead of schedule and $20,000 under budget.
Our next focus is the application of technology to enhance the classrooms and school campus. We are waiting on the SPLOST III election results to determine our next project.
